Janean, Have you tried these disks on more than one computer? Can you confirm that whether they are DVDs or CDs? Sometimes Microsoft sends different versions and if they are DVDs and your drive is only for CDs, that may be the problem. You may also want to try downloading Office form the eopen website...

Hello, I installed the upgrade of Office Suite from 2003 to 2007. Everytime I open up any of the programs from 2007 it first has to go through the configuration process. This is done a installation and not everytime the program is opened. Any ideas? MAJones

I just took the plunge and updated my laptop from office 2003 to office 2007. I was impressed with the smoothness of the upgrade (I did an upgrade not a custom install) and everything in outlook came over with out a hitch. It seems the Outlook has the least amount of GUI changes of all the office products...

I just today re registered the software orders from Tech Soup from 2003 to the present on the e-open site. All the keys were visible, and I downloaded software for Office 2007 which expired on SA last year. So yes you can retrieve keys for the software you are authorized to use and you can still download...
