    I agree 100% with Chris here. Ditch the WEP as that is an old technology and can be easily cracked. If your Linksys doesn't have WPA, it will when you load the latest firmware.

    I believe the problem is with the remote computer, which has a Netgear router. I was able to connect the computers with the Linksys routers without a problem. What I'm having an issue with is connecting the host computer (with the Linksys router) to the remote computer (with the Netgear router)....

    Quynh, I think a more complete answer may be more helpful here in case users do not know how to forward TCP ports. As for the problem at hand, as Quynh said, you need to forward TCP port 5631.
