We have used Google Checkout for over a year. We use it primarily for event payments as it integrates with eventbrite.com, our event managment solution. We also have a Google Checkout button for donors. PROS: FREE to many nonprofits or very low regular fees: 2% + $0.20 per transaction. No monthly service charges. I have been using a Treo 755p on Sprint for six months now and it is much better than the 650. I use Chapura's KeySuite for Outlook integration (I have my business and personal addresses in two separate contacts folders in Outlook and KeySuite handles that as well as the other calendar, tasks and notes). I have TomTom Navigator on the Palm with

Instead of using Exchange Server, we use OsaSync Pro to synchronize our calendars and contact folders. It can synch off location PCs using an FTP site (filespace on the internet where you host your webserver). You buy licenses based on the number of users, not PCs. I have no idea how it integrates with Raisers' Edge. However, if it shares info back

We have an NEC i-Series phone system. I have been unable to get the Pause feature to work in the abbreviated dialing (speed dial). I can program in the P in the number, but it does not seem to actually pause. Anyone have suggestions on how to fix this?

We have been using Quickbooks Online Edition for a year and I really like it. We are a small 3 person nonprofit and I use a contract bookkeeper. Both she and I can access it wherever we may be. Things I like are that Paycycle, which we use for payroll, can export directly to our Quickbooks register; it can download both banking and credit card transactions

I assume the Microsoft downloaded a patch to my computer to "Fix" the change in DST from April 8 to March 11 because all of my Outlook appointments between those two dates got forward an hour. Anyone else have this problem?

For a 4 computer nonprofit whose ED (me) is also the IT staff, it is less expensive to purchase MS Windows XP Pro and MS Office Pro licenses from TechSpoup Stock than to have to go through the learning curve associated with both learning linux and openoffice.org. We don't use online backup. We have win xp peer to peer network for our 4 workstations. We use Backer to backup up three of the workstations to one computer and then backup to an Iomega REV drive. There are daily incremental and a weekly full backup to the drive. The backups are rotated weekly off-site with a series of 3 different cartridges so

Thanks for the reply. We don't have a server, just three Win XP Pro machines with Peer to Peer connections. My main interest is in backing up our data off-site, not the operating system and programs. Those are backed up locally to restore when I lose an individual hard drive. I am mostly concerned about having safe off-site storage of our data in
