  • Re: RE: Have you ever used a Charity Portal or a Charity Mall?

A new player in the arena is Shop2Donate.org They have the highest % return in this niche. Shop2Donate.org returns 100% of the affiliate cash back to the nonprofit. The concept is phenomenal since most "shopping portals" keep 50% - 70% for themselves. We think it's a great model and one that will produce results for NPOs inthis trying

  • Management Dashboard ?

We are looking for software that gives a snapshot of performance variables across multiple programs/services/contracts. Ideally this Management Dashboard will provide us with an effective tool for setting expectations at various levels and allow continuous monitoring of performance against set targets. Seems to be common in the manufacturing sector

  • RE: Anyone have experience with hostingnonprofits.com?

It seems as though hostingnonprofits is an affiliate / reseller of propelhosting.com. They also seem to have an Online Dating Service Builder (if that matters). They're using HSphere for their administrative functions as well. We have a few accounts using the HSphere interface, but we've migrated most of our accounts to CPanel. Most of our customers

  • RE: recurring automatic donations

I see you currently use NFG for online donations. A great service, but does not offer much flexibility. If you currently process credit cards, it is rather easy to establish a payment gateway on your website using that merchant account. Fees vary, but most are around $25/mo and 3% and under for transaction fees. The other and maybe easiest is to establish

  • RE: Have trouble publishing to my Server using Front Page

There may be 2 issues..... If you cannot login, check the .htaccess file to make sure that it is configured correctly. Specifically, verify that the server (for example, "www123" matches the server in the account's Edit Account Information (EAI) screen. In addition, check that the UserID in the EAI is correct. If either the server or UserID do not

  • RE: Updating website content

We have a vew clients using Contribute and they seem to be pretty satisfied with the functionality. We have a pretty simple browser-based system that allows users to add content modules like forms, calendars, flash, etc to pages in a relatively simple manner. You can check it out for a free demo at www.eNonProfits.org

  • RE: Dreamweaver Templates

We have used purchased templates with a varying degree of success. I believe the real issue is the skill of the designer / Dreamweaver user. Templates can vary in terms of coding according to the person who designed them and the application used. For example... some templates may be library based and others may utilize Fireworks for navigation buttons
