Well, I was able to get it all nicely displayed in a report without much ado, but the reason I need this in a layout is for data entry. Maybe the option is a popup window, but I don't know how to do a popup window in 8.5 to pull up each child with historical grandchildren records and the ability to enter future dontation details, rather than showing

Hi Kevin, Thanks for the response. I don't think this is do-able. In MS Access, you can have subreport and subforms and it nicely groups. For example I want one contact # with multiple addresses in one of the portals. In the second portal, I want the donation history for that contact. So I want the date, then for each date, there would be multiple
