    Are you using the same web browser an OS on all the laptops? I found this link that has a list of requirements for the site. It seems a bit dated, but has a list of things to check https://myportal.medicare.gov/eservice_enu/help/CMS-MBP_Browser_Help.html#browserrequirements JavaScript and add blocker are two things that might be causing an issue.

    Hey Tom, I would look at the console and see if there is any more/better info in there. I would also check to see if you there are any other software updates that need to be done. Is there an error number with the error message? If so, google might be able to provide a bit more information what the error means.

    If your using a mac and are planning on upgrading to Snow Leopard ( version 10.6) then quicktime has the ability to record screen casts without having to be upgraded to the pro version of quicktime.     I have a feeling that your servers are windows based, but in case they are not, there are some great high availability options on linux that are open source. DRBD is an elegant solution that has a support option if you want/need it. The website is www.drbd.org.
