I just purchased a new HP Pavilion Elite desktop with a monitor the size of a Jumbotron. I was not keen on the monitor, but it came bundled with the computer, and that's what I wanted. Recently had a need to post a video for a nonprofit client. They went with Vimeo because the video was long and YouTube has limits. But there are other issues to consider: Accessibility: are your videos captioned for deaf and hard of hearing participants? They should be. What is the best way to accomplish this? I do hate answering my own question...but I have discovered Apture which works with iPaper to allow this kind of function. But there is a limit to the size of the file - 5MB. http://www.apture.com/ ~j

Thank you for your reply. The situation is the owner/user of the site has limited web experience and I want something that she can do easily. Want to have a plugin that would upload the files and create the links for her. I've found plugins that work with images and videos, but not other kinds of files. ~j

For several years I used a product called Group Mail developed by a company in Ireland . It is a client-based product that works with your regular mail server to send out e-mail to large groups. The product worked fairly well for a while, but as Spam filtering and blocking became more prominent, the ability to get my messages to my members became harder
