In the last few months, SEIU has been experimenting with more Web 2.0 stuff -- tagging, Flickr, MySpace, YouTube, etc. One of the problems we've run into is that there are so many different Web 2.0 tools and communities out there that it's hard to know where it's worthwhile putting our effort given limited time. Thanks for the article! Two questions: The list of Organizations involved in the Identity Gang doesn't include Google or Yahoo. Any idea why they aren't involved? What about privacy? For example, how do proponents of any "user-centric" approach plan to make sure this doesn't turn into a better tool for people who want to sell us stuff?

We've just started using YouTube; you can check out the SEIU "channel" here . One of the issues we've been wrestling with is which video services are worth posting on. Each community is different, and obviously there are advantages to posting on more than one, but the more you post to, the more work it is. Any thoughts?
