  • RE: Where can we find free music for students making educational videos?

I've have used this site: http://www.royaltyfreemusic.com/free-music-program/. You can get some free music/sound clips. It's a subscription service to access their full array. They say they have a program for education that offers free subscriptions. We're not an educational organization, so I haven't applied. Good luck.

  • MS Licensing

We received 23 donated computers. 10 of them came with the Certificates of Authenticity and CDs for Windows NT, but NT was NOT actually installed on the machines when we got them (the drives were wiped clean.) The other 13 machines have the Windows 98 "Certificate of Authenticity" Sticker (with a product key) on the side of the machine, but the drives

  • Free Xerox Printer Offer

Has anyone looked into getting (or have already gotten)the free color printer program that Xerox is offering (www.freecolorpinters.com)? This seems like a good program. I know you have to purchase the ink supplies from them and pay if you go below the estimated amount of pages per month. Are you aware of any other hidden costs? Any comments about the

  • Network switches

We are upgrading our network and plan to replace the existing 10BT hubs with 10/100 switches. The difference in price between managed and unmanaged switches is significant. Why would I need managed switches? Are the advantages worth the extra money? If I need 2 switches, can they be mixed (1 managed, 1 not)? I don't know if any of these issues would

  • RE: Norton software

Joan, I currently am trying to purchase subscriptions for Norton. You mentioned a $4 per computer per year for license. Where can this price be obtained? I am getting $14 from one vendor. Any info would be appreciated. PS the GIF program is new. Last year, Symantec was donating the software without going thru the GIF program.

  • RE: Adding users to the network

Thanks for the suggestions. Those are the primary areas I was going to use. Once I get a form developed, I would be happy to share it. I am still interested in hearing from any others.
