Is it possible to scale back MS Project in some way - or just limit the features you're using - to make it more user-friendly? One of my colleagues wants us to buy project management software, and claims that while the available freeware is too basic, Project (which isn't free, but we could buy enough licenses for the whole office through TechSoup

We just finished converting our data from DonorPerfect to RE7. The conversion was done by BlackBeard, and we did not use outside consultants. We did wind up waaaaay behind schedule, but that was our fault, not theirs. The guy I work with was Al Halbritter. I've never used Paradigm, so I can't offer much of a comparison. For what it's worth, though, I was always very happy with their tech support staff. We had the standard package (they had a deluxe contract that guaranteed a call back in X hrs) and almost always got a call back that day. I also found it reasonably easy to learn.

I downloaded an installed a trial versuib if Mailshell Anti Spam the other day. I got it configured properly, and got it to work. Once. I logged in the next day and now whenever I try to use Mailshell with my email, I get an "error reading from network. connection closed by foreign host" error message.
