Same question. Except I know virtually nothing about servers. I am a very "accidental" techie in this non-profit law office. Our IT consultant (who understandably would like to be able to fix stuff for us remotely) wants me to buy a "Lights Out Advanced" license for our HP servers for $332. We can't afford it. Any other options

Like, do I need a new server? Do we need better IT security? What are our options for remote access to our server

I am an attorney at a small non-profit legal office. Our office is growing and, of course, so are our tech needs. I am a very amateur techy myself, but we have a tech guy that is on call when we need him (provided he's available, which he is not sometimes... that's another story). Anyway, I am trying to wrap my head around our growing technology
