This Qualcomm website, to me as a potential visitor, as opposed to a marketing professional, looks horrible. Corporate pages that look like this are one of the main reasons I do little on-line shopping. Why do they fill up half the page with photos of people I don't know or care about, and use private marketing language that communicates nothing

We had a computer donated to us with no operating system. I have an unused WinXP disk that I'd like to install on it. This is the first time I've ever tried to do such a thing - I've always bought a machine loaded at the factory. A bunch of files were copied from the CD to the hard drive; I entered the computer name, my name, and Administrator

conversion programs and hardware to convert legacy VHS and magnetic super8 video to digital, especially to create DVDs that will play in commercial DVD players, not just on computers that have matching software. Sound editing software, to combine and split up .mp3 files, or to edit them

I have about 950 recipients of my newsletter. I used to use my Access database as the MailMerge data source for my newsletter. Word would send the emails out one-by-one. To the best of my knowledge, they all went through. I would periodically ask people if they got the newsletter, I added my self at various positions in the list, and I got back about

I don't know if you got an answer to your question or not. The more specific your question, the more useful the answers will be. What verions of Access are you using? Is all the data you want in one table, or do you have linked tables? One suggestion I can make is if you are not working with Office 2007, you can find used Access books on Amazon

I am with a very small, all-volunteer organization. Our website consists of static HTML pages, with some shopping pages and PayPal links and Google ads. Our webmaster is a volunteer, and sometimes takes three or four days to respond to a requested change. I have some rudimentary HTML skills, and there have been times when I've found something small

Well, it's not lost - I back-arrowed until I got to the page where it was originally composed, and instead of clicking on the "Preview Message" button, I just posted it directly, and it got posted, so I didn't loose my work. I found that out when I posted the first message that started this thread. It was a little, short message, and I got the

There are a number of webhosts that can host Access databases. Winsave is one, which I don't recommend because their servers are SO SLOW and their tech support sucks. I've seen ads for one+one. If you do a Google search, I'm sure you can find many hosting companies that will host your Access database online. Depending upon your in-house

Use the microsoft newsgroups to post your question. I use Outlook Express to get to the MS Newsgroups, but you can also use your browser, but it's MUCH slower to navigate. I would start with the group microsoft.public.outlook.installation If you don't get an answer in the first day or so, post to microsoft.public.outlook.general First, though
