    I'd recommend getting your current site up to snuff with valid code: http://validator.w3.org/ http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/ After that, do a needs/goals analysis and sort out what your target market is. From there you can begin to work on the new updated design based on your findings.

    I've recently hopped on the Wordpress bandwagon. I like it because it is simple, customizable, and has plenty of support.     west7th, The Zoho.com and 37Signals.com links you posted were fantastic! Thanks for mentioning them, both were new to me. Today I was reading the latest sitepoint.com newsletter and they mentioned a free virtual clone version of the basecamp ( 37Signals.com ) application you suggested. It's called activeCollab . I haven't used it yet myself

It's been my experience that many people will steer clear of this type of thing unless they are already comfortable with computers and technology.
