If you use other Adobe software InDesign is designed more consistently with the toolbars and features of Illustrator and so on. I think PageMaker is excellent but if you end up with missing fonts at your service provider you have a problem with PageMaker (it doesn't always package every font). I use Firefox at home. I like to support open source software and Firefox, Thunderbird and Open Office are at the top of my list. On Firefox I love the multiple tabs, the array of excellent plugins, the friendliness with Google technology, the lower risk of malicious coding getting into my system, ease of use.
