Conservatively speaking, I imagine there are millions of people using PHP since it's freely available and most hosting companies offer it. I'd say it's probably the first server-side language budding web developers try to learn. Eric

A really good Mac-only app I use for website site maps and other types of diagramming is OmniGraffle . There's also a site with free stencils: Graffletopia . The ability to generate diagrams quickly from an outline is my favourite feature. I used Dia a year and a half ago. It was ok, but still buggy. I also used OpenOffice Draw for a while, which

SlimStat is also a nice application.

There's another service similar to this called Feed43 . When I tried it, it was pretty difficult to set up (not impossible), but that may have changed now that it has officially launched.

I also like Mint. Our servers by default use Awstats and I've used BBclone on a number of sites, including blogs.
