Hi, Our organization has employed Comodo Antivirus alongside ClamWin . ClamWin doesn't have a real time scanner so the two don't conflict, but it makes a great "second opinion" through scheduled and right-click scans. Comodo has proven itself in our networks, though I did disable the HIPS application as I found it too "pushy". All our systems

Hi, I'm not sure what your needs are for the logo, but to keep things simple you can try this online service: Cool Text It's a free service to design your text logo, adjusting some of the formats like background colour, etc. It then produces the jpeg for download or further editing. Talk to you later, James

Hi, Jeff, I feel your pain. Technology can get frustrating ... but it does pay the rent ;-) Here is the link to HP's software downloads: HP Software You mentioned "convert to a group". I'm not sure what you meant by that. How I read it, after you have created your individual speed dial entries, you then create a group where you add those individual

Hi, The one most recommended is KompoZer It is built on Nvu, which I have used in the past and found it to work quite well. It has WYSIWYG web page editing so updates and editing are straight forward. It runs on several platforms, including Mac, so hopefully this will be what they're looking for. Talk to you later, James

Hi, When I first joined our Society they operated a single server with about 10 end users, and they also relied on outside technical services. The drawbacks are likely similar to what you have experienced, waiting days on end for service and likely not being shown adequately how to use the system. Their solution was in hiring me as their tech guy, functioning

Hi, Willow, Your question is actually our "plan B" at this time. I have reviewed a number of alternatives and Ubuntu has been my favourite. Part of what I do is try to anticipate future trends and needs and construct a response or transition accordingly. With the increased interest of legislators across the globe in open source software, and some enacting

Hi, Doug, I assume you were booting up your laptop when you were prompted for the bios password? Failing the correct password x number of tries then locked you out. If the subsequent no power is linked in with that, it may be on a timed cycle before you can boot again, though I'm not certain on that part. I would wait a while before trying to boot

Hi. I did some searching and have found several groups that recommend SuperAntiSpyware Free Edition. Some also recommend running SmitfraudFix first. I have not tried them myself, but the groups I researched are reputable. Hopefully this helps. Talk to you later, James
