Make sure you read through the entire threads our competitor Sasha posted above. Note that GiftWorks is endorsed by a number of statewide nonprofit associations, including PA Association of Nonprofits, Utah Association of Nonprofits, and CCSNY (New York). Note that Sasha is from a competitor. I'm from GiftWorks, so this is obviously a biased view, but here are some helpful links. • RE: Giftworks

I'm from GiftWorks, and would love to learn about your experience with the program. If you're coming from Raiser's Edge, it's likely you'll have a different experience. But I'm surprised to hear your comment that it's expensive, especially if you're coming from Raiser's Edge. Any feedback will be helpful to serving

  • RE: What would help your nonprofit pursue eco-friendly printing techniques?

Mission Research (GiftWorks) mostly prints on 100% post-consumer recycled (PCR) paper with soy ink. We've found we can use our local printer and direct them to New Leaf Paper or other PCR providers. In fact, we just printed composition books for Craigslist Nonprofit Boot Camp on the 19th in Berkeley, which is a "zero waste" event. And the Craig'slist

  • Chuck Waterfield: International Microfinance Dude

I know Chuck from living in Lancaster, PA. Usually he's in Guatemala, or Spain, or Thailand, or some other great place teaching microfinance. www.microfin.com (not great web design, just great insights) Keep in mind Lancaster County is home to the Mennonite Central Committee and 10,000 villages; this area is full of mission-oriented folks, and Chuck

  • RE: Volunteer Management/Tracking Databases

We are releasing GiftWorks Volunteers in May, which will have gone through testing by 100 consultants and volunteers by the release. The price is expected to be under $300. It integrates with GiftWorks 2006 fundraising software, and will have some integrated online features by this summer. More information can be found here: http://www.missionresearch

  • RE: Giftworks

We will not be able to accommodate you with a French language version. But the letters you send can be in any language--we don't impose anything on that. I'm not sure if there's a difference between English and non-English versions of Windows where GiftWorks wouldn't work--we haven't tested for it, but it seems you've had success
