Well, per usual Congress is slowly catching up with technology. Now it seems that there is an attempt to regulate congress from using Twitter. Twitter Article As much as I am for transparency and utilizing technology, it seems to me that Congress has better things to do with its time than Twittering. Am I wrong? What I really like about Urchin is that it is Web based. It made it really easy to pull information up quickly for a set time period. I have used it mostly for identifying the most popular articles and forums threads. It also has good information about operating systems and web browsers. This also brings up an important point with Web analytics tools

Jupiter Research back in 2005 claimed that 32% of Internet users were using anti-spyware. I've heard other reports that claim that internet users are regularly deleting their cookies. Are you deleting your cookies regularly? Can we believe unique visitor counts if people are deleting their cookies? My take is that people delete third party cookies

Here at TechSoup we have been using Urchin but then Google bought them. Now, they have finally come out with the next version of Urchin that uses some functionality of Google Analytics. What is Urchin If you are using Urchin would you consider upgrading to 6.0?
