yes, changed workgroup on laptop to match PC. Interestingly enough, when I ran the network wizard in XPro it had a diagram implying that it did not like the configuration I have setup...security issues. I have since gone and purchased a Linksys 3G - DSL router and will hard wire the PC to THAT and then run the laptop via wireless etc. Or should I say

Hey guys, Go WILD!!! Have new computer with XP pro and older one with 98se. Installed qwest dsl via ethernet connection. Qwest Actiontec modem has wireless capability.
