  • RE: Filemaker?

I'm not sure if you mean to switch away from Filemaker or just looking for Windows software, but Filemaker is also available for Windows. A Filemaker database can be used on either on a Mac or PC if Filemaker is installed. Ben

  • RE: Mac user needing help!

I've been using Filemaker Donations for a while. There are things that I like and don't like about it (it does work on Macs though). Check out: Donations link I'd be happy to give you more info about what I like/don't like about the software. Just email me. I've read some posts here about Salesforce (an ASP / web based solution)

  • RE: For Mac environment: Shared Calendar

I looks like you've put a lot of effort into this so far...I hope you can get it figured out. I have not personally tried this software out but Spanning Sync can sync between iCal and Google Calendar. http://spanningsync.com/. Good luck, Ben Wright ENCOMPASS benwright@encompass.org

I've gotten many questions and info requests about it since then from other non-profit groups. Since it's a Donations is a customized database (versus an installable appliation) - you can't get to

  • RE: Any recommendations for fundraising software that is compatible with Mac OS 10?

I've been using Filemaker Donations for about 2 months now (OS X 10.4) and it's been fine. It is a fairly advanced pre-built Filemaker that you can customize (assuming you own Filemaker). For basic donation and donor tracking it's great. It is the best thing I have found for use on the Mac. The interface is pretty easy to navigate and you

  • RE: Alternatives to Groundspring

There are several others: Check out this link to other donation options from Network for Good's website. Network for Good charges the same rate (3%) and have no setup or monthly fees, BUT they ask your donors to consider donating something to them also. If that's OK with you then they might be a good option. Ben Wright Encompass
