  • RE: Hey, it's a top ten list.

You could use Yugma for remote desktop. It is free for less than 10 users. It is designed for web conferences, but sharing desktops is one of its features.

  • RE: File-sharing service for sharing large media files

We use MegaUpload.com for files up to 500MB. You upload the file, and send a link and password to the recipients, who then download them. $15 for 2 months, I believe there is a free version for smaller files.

  • RE: Block spam on webforms

I've tried this, but it hasn't stopped the spam. I have my validation set to "integer" with range limited to the sum of the question. My webhost has CF 5, and I wonder if the validation works on that version.

  • Block spam on webforms

I want to stop the spam that bots generate in my webforms. My site is run on ColdFusion, so I have been unable to implement CAPTCHA or Form Armor solutions. I'm looking at commercial webform protection products such as Web Form SPAM Protection. Has anyone used a commercial product they can recommend? Is there a review site somewhere? Thanks,

  • RE: E-learning tools

We lease a commercial Learning CMS from ePath. We looked at Moodle in our search, but our consultant advised us that its lack of documentation made it very difficult to configure. Furthermore, it seemed not to be oriented towards grades, which we wanted. Moodle seems to be good for collaboration between learners.

  • Many to one chat

I'm looking for a chat service that will allow 25 users to communicate with me; I want to see everything the 25 send, but don't want them to see anyone else's messages. This is the sort of functionality you get in webcast software like Readytalk. Anyone seen it as a stand alone?
