Two low cost ones I would recommend are Lunarpages and Bluehost. They both offer ASP and My-Sql support for very reasonable rates. I have used both and I am overall happy with them.

I agree with ENO. Many of the power costs of an office are fixed regardless of from where the software comes. I agree that you could see some savings since, in theory, you wouldn't need a dedicated server on your end 24/7 and you could possibly get away with some less beefy machines. Now some of that would be offset by needing better internet equipment

There is one thing I would check first. Are you using DVD+R media for copying the disks? In theory you would be able to copy from DVD+R or DVD-R to either format, but in reality, it rarely works that way. Otherwise, see if your writing program supports making images. That might be better and it would save you some time in the future if you need more

Also, by relatively inexpensive, what do you mean? How much do you have budgeted, or do you even have any amount? Without knowing the specifics of your situation, you will probably want a computer to ask as a server (preferably running a server OS such as Small Business Server or any of the Linux/BSD based OS). This computer should be the beefiest you

Not always. You receiving it at 11am could mean any number of things - they actually sent it at that time, it reached your ISP at that time, you downloaded the message from your ISP at that time, etc. Any number of things could also have delayed the message from getting to you in the first place. Some services (especially ones like AOL), can take up

I would also recommend Video Lan Client. It can play MP4 (and just about any other video format) and convert to the formats that many video editing programs expect (including the free ones that come with Windows).

Shipley, No, that is not the model I have. I have the Meso model. Mine only came with a 8GB SSD. 2GB are allocated to the system restore, leaving just 6GB for other stuff. Once you install office, anti-virus, and a couple of other (what I consider needed) programs, there is little room left. To see my model, go to the Toys-R-Us website and look for

As far as a dual-core netbook, I know of at least one - the Sylvania G. Not a well known one as yet, but it shows up as dual core under Windows. I would really think about how you are planning to use a netbook. The sub $300 ones that I have looked at so far compromise so much on the keyboard that it is difficult for regular touch typing. On my G, there

A quick Google search should turn up some suitable flash scripts that you can customize via a seperate file that lists the images. So, instead of changing the flash file each time, you just edit the configuration file in any text editing program. I have also used a program called PowerBullet in the past. It is free and allows you to do some fairly neat

The quick answer is that you can't. You can do some things to make it harder, but the very nature of how the web works means that the photo is downloaded to the persons' computer when viewing the page. Or they can save the page to their computer and will get the pictures as well. Check Google for various Javascript techniques that you can use
