Brown Paper Tickets (www.brownpapertickets.com) is also a great resource -- if you're looking for a headcount & contacts and/or a way to sell tickets. I don't believe it does email invites or follow-up. I've used them to post events with a ticket price, but it looks like they handle free events, too. Their service was helpful and friendly
