  • RE: To VPN or not?

Thanks for the input...here's some clarification: I hope (maybe incorrectly) we don't need to run wire$. $ound$ very expen$ive. Is there another way (we are a nonprofit after all) Could we get some kind of wireless network for each cluster and simply connect the two (or limit ourselves for now to just one cluster)? See below? • To VPN or not?

I am working to form a new nonprofit, taking over a heritage farm property with many buildings and an existing farm operation. We're going to need computers in several buildings, and of course these machines will need to be networked. I assume the answer to this is VPN, but I have no idea where to start in pricing such technology or even knowing

  • RE: Online Mall as Fundraiser

Interesting...we aren't looking to sell our own products, but allow our members to shop major retailers and we get an "affiliate" commission..is that what you're doing?

  • Online Mall as Fundraiser

I have been using www.igive.com for several of my charities to date, but customers have told us they don't like logging in/registering to Igive just to get access to the mall On the other hand, we don't generate enough volume to maintain a CJ account...does anyone have ideas on "shopping mall fundraiser" companies we can work with?

  • RE: Content Management Systems

I use content managers on nearly all my sites - in fact my server comes with one (need HTML knowledge for theirs) as part of the package - but I add a WYSIWYG option to most sites. Looking now for a good replacement to the one I use (currently we are with FirstCHair)...mostly because I want one login that will allow me to edit all my sites. email me

  • hosting option

I have bulk reseller hosting through HostForWeb. The reason I did that for my nonprofit is we have the budget, and want to allow other nonprofits who may not have it to rent space from us (at a discount). It's part of our goal to support community nonprofits if interested, email me at stevef@practicalenvironmentalism.org I have clients on there
