    I have used www.cutesendit.com to send large files. It is free and works great. As for allowing remote access, have considered having each user of each remote computer having their own free logmein account. Then when they need help you should be able to simply logon to their computer. I use logmein all of the time to log on to several remote computers

    Since you only need your small board of trustees to have access would setting up a computer with "LogMeIn" access where each person could remotely access the single computer that has the informaton be too low tech for your need?
