With over fifteen years of professional experience training non-profit, government, and library organizations, Stephanie is an expert consultant primarily in the topics of technology, training, digital literacy, grants, and advocacy. She has worked as a Training and Outreach consultant for TechSoup for Libraries since 2007 and is currently also the TechSoup Webinar Manager.
Stephanie plans and conducts online training for thousands of participants around the world, including facilitating an online library advocacy project, Turning the Page, funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. She has managed statewide training programs at New Mexico and Arizona State Libraries, worked as a trainer for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, taught graduate-level online courses, performed as a systems administrator for Federal Express, and is a certified trainer for the Public Library Association in strategic planning, management, facilitation, and staffing.
Stephanie is an author of three books, including The Accidental Technology Trainer and Winning Grants. She has a Master of Library and Information Science (MLS) degree and a BA in English with a concentration in technical writing. She lives in Seattle, WA with her husband and charming 5 year old daughter.
