I have always been fascinated with technology ever since I was 11 years old. At that age, however, I did not know the dangers of the internet and the damage it could have done to my family's sensitive information. After infecting my family's computer with malware, with an expired anti-virus licence, it was my responsibility to remove the malware... Manually.
Years later with that same childhood passion, I move out of my home in Alberta, Canada to California to pursue my BA in Business Administration with a concentration in Information Systems and Technology. Here I am now, holding that degree in my hand. As a recent graduate, I am hungry for a challenge, experience, and professional growth.
As of October 2018, I currently volunteer at New Heights Educational Group as a Blackboard/Coursesites Assistant and a radio host. With these positions, I hope to gain experience in IT, and raise cyber-awareness through NHEG's radio show in hopes to spread a message that cyber threats do happen, and to keep information safe and secure.
Notable university projects: Getting familiar with Raspberry Pi, Integrating Google Cloud Platform in a Business Curriculum.
Work/Volunteer: New Heights Educational Group: Blackboard/Coursesites Assistant, NHEG Show on Education Host.
Skills: Software and hardware troubleshooting, basic knowledge of networking and virtual machines, Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10, iOS, Android, some Raspian.
Languages: Python, HTML, CSS, Visual Basic.
Other fun facts: I'm an avid gamer, UFC fan, and wants to one day travel the world.
