Greetings All- I'm excited to take part in the Funding for Technology On-Line Discussion this week. Here is a bit about myself: Paula Kowalczyk, Co-Director, Development, creates strategies to achieve annual fundraising goals. Ms. Kowalczyk heads Street-Level’s efforts in grant writing, event planning and sponsorship, initiating external relations with funders and individuals and organizational outreach through publications, marketing and media relations. Receiving her BFA from Eastern Michigan University and her MFA from the University of Pennsylvania, she is a visual artist who has shown her work nationally as well as a freelance Visual Arts Consultant and curator. Ms. Kowalczyk is a former Board Member for Anchor Graphics, having led the agency’s Education Committee as well as serving on their Benefit and Fundraising Committees. Ms. Kowalczyk has also worked with Morningstar Inc. for 5 years in the Sales and Conference divisions before coming to Street-Level in 1999. She remains committed to both her own artwork and the Chicago art community.
