announcements classified as spam

Has anyone had their email domain blacklisted as a result of sending email announcements to a large group? With so many people using spam filters, or using a service that filters mail for you, it is possible that messages sent to a large group of recipients will result in many messages going straight to someone's junk folder and deleted without their ever seeing the message. I recently discovered Hotmail classifies our mail as junk so our grantees that use Hotmail accounts don't see our emails. Has anyone else experienced this?

No.

From where and how are you sending them? Your company's network?

it can easily be how you send the mail also .

if you have a bunch of people in the to box and or use a company that has been tagged as a spammer you can have problems.. Eeven some email software progrmas put junk in the heads which maybe getting tagged also
