Hi, everyone. I cannot make an Access 2000 RunTime database work on Windows 98.
I am distributing an Emergency Medical Services database, built in Access 2000. I purchased the Developer's edition so that I can distribute Access RunTime to users who don't have Access 2000 installed. My system works perfectly on Windows NT and later operating systems.
However, when trying to install RunTime on a W98 system, W98 asks me for the 25 character CD key. In other words, W98 thinks that I am installing a full Access (i.e., a purchased one).
We have looked at little at MS documentation to try to solve this problem, but haven't found any yet. Any ideas?
