New Member in Fredericksburg, VA

Hi all!

I am John Iida, and I work with the American Traffic Safety Services Association, based here in Fredericksburg. Our motto is "safer roads save lives." Our mission is to promote roadway safety, with a specific focus around those who work on the roads. Our membership is centered around those who are involved in roadway work - State, Federal, and Local transportation agency officials, roadway workers, suppliers of roadway safety devices (guard rails, barriers, reflective clothing, etc).

I serve as the IT Manager for the organization. While I am relatively new to the association field, I have experience in IT from the Corporate world - I worked as a Network/Database Administrator and Desktop Support Tech for a medium-sized software firm that was bought out a couple of years ago.

I look forward to particpating and contributing where I can to this group.... as an old manager of mine once said: "none of us is as smart as all of us!"
