Hi G!

I'm sorry to be so uninformative, but your questions are a little vague; if we had a little more information we could help out more! Where are you located, and what sort of speed are you looking for? What sort of network cards do you need for your notebooks? How many people are in your organization, and what sort of features do you require from your phone provider? If you could answer these questions, we could be more focused with our answers.

Good  afternoon,

The Internet speed  that  we are looking for is 7.0 meg bites, But if we had one  wireless broad band cards  with a Mifi Card we would not need  the Internet services. The type of land line  phone services that we need  is long distance with conference calling . We are located in the city of Norwalk, CA

Thank you,

 Regina

I don't believe you will be able to find reliable 7mbps (that's megabits, not megabytes, which would be rated as 56 mbps) over a wireless broad band card for your office.  I would give DSL Extreme a call - they are a DSL provider in CA and may or may not provide non-profit discounts.  You should be able to get what you're looking for at less than $100 a month.  I'm not sure what you mean by low-price.

For landline, is there something wrong with your telephone company?  If you have reliable Internet you could try what we do for my company.  I purchased the $49.95 / mo plan from grasshopper.com that got me 2000 minutes, a local number, a toll-free number, and 20 extensions.  The extensions are virtual, and if you want them to ring a phone you have to provide them with the number (say your cell phone or a Skype-In line which are $30-$50 / yr).  Best of luck!

7 Mbits is a lot of bandwidth. Unless you're downloading tons of stuff, I don't think a small nonprofit needs to pay $100/ month for Internet access. More like $30-40, for a standard 1.5 Mbit connection, or maybe 3 Mbit.

Definitely will not get close to 7 Mbit over mobile broadband.

Your local Charter Communications has High Speed Internet with speeds up to 5Mbps and Unlimited Local and Long Distance Calling for $59.98 a month for 6 months

in norwark, you might be able to get FIOS. I'm not sure how they will treat your business as. resident or business.  if they treat it as business, it will cost more.  if it as business, the cheapest I can think of is DRY DSL from dslextreme.com.  then get VOIP like vonage.  most notebook already has build in network port as well as wifi.
