NEEDED: Donor Software for MAC OS

Does anyone know of anyone who uses MAC software to track donors?  And, does TechSoup distribute and such product.

If you have Filemaker for the Mac there is a free database template that looks like it would do a very nice job.  If you don't have Filemaker you can download a 30 free demo at www.filemaker.com (Filemaker is an Apple owned company)  And then you could see if the Free database meets your needs.

And then the free donations template is at http://www.filemakerdonations.com/

Hope that helps.

Hi,

I haven't heard of a donor management program for MAC's. For a little more info in this topic, here is a previous thread about it.

Fundraising Software for Macs

Hope that helps,

Dear Mar12186,

Here's a discussion of Mac donor databases from 2004.  GiftMaker Pro and MacTRAK are no longer being sold.  DonorPerfect Online is still being sold but I'm not sure about the others that I listed back then.  In addition, NorthStar DB (created by one of the developers of the now-defunct eBase) and Easy-Ware work with Macs.  And there are web-based systems like DonorPro, Z2 Neon, SalesForce, CommonGround and eTapestry that work with Macs.  I assume that Blackbaud's new Now database does as well, but I can't find that info on their web site.

Many of these systems are described in detail in Idealware's Consumers Guide to Low Cost Donor Management Systems.

I know that TechSoup offers Blackbaud Now and eTapestry,  I don't see the others listed at the moment.
