Sample Agreement Between Site and Vendor?

Hi,

My non-profit historic site is beginning to allow the site to be rented out for events.  We have established relationships with preferred caterers and other vendors, but need to have each of them sign agreements.  Does anyone have a sample of an agreement, or know of an online site where one can be obtained?

You might be interested in doing a search on Google for the terms "facility rental contract" or "facility rental agreement" because that kind of query will give you examples of the type of agreement you're looking for.

Here are three different rental agreements you can check out:

• Facility Rental Contract Example #1 (History Center)
• Facility Rental Contract Example #2 (Arts Center)
• Facility Rental Agreement Example #3 (Museum)

Of course you'll want to modify/adapt these to make them fit within your own context accordingly.  But at least these contracts should give you something to work with.  Ideally it's best to get your final agreement reviewed by a lawyer, if possible.

You might also want to google for catering contracts, and do you have a code of conduct for your members and employees, you would want to add those to the vendor contracts.   You can also craft between you and the vendors a "Scope of Work" that details who is responsible for what and what the vendor will be providing and implicitly not providing.
