deploy print management

Hi all,

I have east and west printers.  I got the print setup correctly with gpo ppc.exe and everything works fine using print management.  My problem was when I move the pc1 from east to west and pc1 still link to the east  printer.  I've moved the pc1 from east OU to west OU already but it did not solve my problem.  The printer on the west never show on pc1. 

Now I moved pc1 to an clean OU without gpo, still pc1 still link to east printer.  I restart the computer multiple time, flushdns, registerdns, gpupdate /force and even delete the printer on pc1.  once restart the printer sitting there again.  I've been searching for this solution for quite sometime and can't find the answer yet.  Can someone help me please.

I saw the following statement in the comments of the TechNet article on PushPrinterConnections. Doesn't answer your initial question, but it explains why the printer is still present when you move the PC to the "clean OU without gpo"

If you move the computer to a diffrent OU without the pushPrinterConnection.exe attaced to that OU the printers will remain.

Did you try gpupdate /force when the PC was on the west OU or just when it was on the "clean" OU?
