We are a national 501c3 education nonprofit, whose mission is to educate and engage youth in community and world affairs, to prepare them to live, work and learn as responsible citizens in our global community.

Summary:
Seeking a freelance web developer to complete improvements and upgrades to an existing nonprofit website including:
-Enhancements to existing subscription management system
-Creation of distinct logged-in and logged-out homepages and functional redirect when users login to the site
-Graphic redesign
-Redesigned layout and structure of specified pages
-Integration of sitewide search
Requirements:
-Strong technical knowledge of Joomla, including ability to install and customize extensions
-Experience working with web-based subscription management system
-Strong knowledge of CSS, PHP, MySQL, Javascript, and graphic design
-Problem solving skills and attention to detail
-Experience collaborating with nonprofit clients strongly preferred; experience with education non-profits a plus
-Ability to meet deadlines: this job requires a tight turnaround.
Deliverables:
• Fully operational website with development upgrades and design improvements
• Documentation describing work completed and identifying any known deficiencies.
• Ongoing technical support for a period of 2 months following launch to rectify any bugs discovered.
