I am currently in a start-up fase with the goal of creating an online distributed fundraising site for mainly Danish users.
The idea is to give danish users get the possibilities to create their own fundraising pages, as seen on globalgiving and justgiving etc, for their favorite cause and also give them the possibility to create fundraising teams as on globalgiving and even share their and the charitys experinces and file reports with a wikisite buildin function .?
As a part of the researchfase that I am currently in, I am trying to find out if there exist any opensource platforms or another platform that can be purchase to use with license. The reason of that is that I believe it could be an affordable alternative instead of developing a platform from the bottom.
It´s very important that it can be transformed into Danish or Scandinavian.The maintainace is also likewise expected to be made by the developers.
So,.. here is my questions:
A. - Do anyone know any online fundraising platforms that has been sold or open source shared?
B. - If so,.. which one is the best, most flexible and has the best support. please let me hear al the valuable comments, experiences that you have made.
C. If you know anyone in Denmark or Scandinavia that has important knowledge and interest in participating in the development of a fundraising platform site, please contact me.
