Looking for Computer Donations

03-30-2009 11:29 AM

Hello,

To introduce myself, I am the former IT Manager for BASICS in Milwaukee, Inc. You may know Arn Quakkelaar who is the CEO/Founder of BASICS. His number is available for reference upon request.

In my working with BASICS, and other non-profit community service organizations, I have developed a desire to provide Computer Support and Repair services to churches, and community service organizations.

I currently operate two businesses. Boyd IT Consulting, and Community PC Help which is a non-profit organization.

I am contacting you today to ask if you have any older computers and or equipment you would like to donate to this cause. Do you have a need for additional contract technical support where I could provide services to support this ministry?

Please feel free to view my company website, and you will find information concerning both organizations there.

Please contact me if either of these situations exists. Please keep my information for future reference as I will not contact you on a regular basis.

Thank you for your time, and this opportunity to serve.

Welcome to TechSoup! The forums are for helping nonprofits with technology questions and not soliciting donations, as per our Community Rules & Standards. However, I encourage you to check out our Hardware and Refurbishers resource page that can help you with obtaining used computer equipment.

Please don't hesitate to post any specific technology questions you have or answer any where you have some expertise to offer.

Best,

Megan
