What Cisco messages are you getting? Sound like Cisco is blocking the site coming back.

It definitely sounds like your Pix is blocking some of the traffic to your Ipod Touch.  What are you trying to access when using your Touch?  If you are trying to hit itunes, you need to allow TCP port 3689 and UDP port 5353.  If that isn't what you are trying to connect to, a little more information would be helpful.  Best of luck,

If you obtained your PIX 501 through TechSoup less than five years ago, you can call Cisco TAC for assistance with this issue. If you don't have a SmartNet contract, they aren't that expensive.

Best,

Perhaps you can give us a few more tidbits, such as...

--your config (particularly your ACLs)

--debug output

--what you're doing on the iPod touch that's not working

Give us these things, and perhaps we can push you in the right direction...

Also, Cisco TAC is great.  Call them and they can likely help you sort this out (I'm guessing it's quite easy).

If you could provide me a copy of the PIX configuration, I would be more than happy to resolve the issue for you.   You may just be blocking a certain type of return traffic inbound.
