Today on the TechSoup Blog, we looked at a presentation on Office 2008 from Macworld.

Where are all my Mac users at? What do you think of Office 2008? What are your favorite Mac resources?

I don't mind the Mac 2008 stuff. It looks good and I have yet to have any problems with compatibility.

Many of my fave Mac tools can be found here: http://www.opensourcemac.org/

I really dig Quicksilver and find myself fumbling when I don't have it (or something like it) on other computers.

I'm Microsoft-free on my Mac. I switched to NeoOffice a year ago and love it. I work flawlessly with my clients and colleagues who are still using Microsoft -- documents, spreadsheets and presentations have all looked great in NeoOffice, and things I send to them have all worked great, no problem. It's a great office suite -- and it's free!

The only thing I dislike about Office for the Mac is Entourage. It looks pretty and stuff, but it lacks core functionality that Outlook does when communicating with Exchange. :| umm, duh!?

Agreed on Entourage blowing chunks.

I've had way better success with Evolution on Linux synching with Exchange than with Entourage.

(Haven't yet found a good, stable install of Evolution for OS X, though)
