New Forums: Known Issues

Thanks for your continuing feedback to help improve our new forums platform! Here is a list of known issues that our IT and Web Production team are working to find solutions for. We will keep you updated as to when you can expect these changes to take place.

• Not all links from the old forums are active hyperlinks
• Default font size is set too small and text often truncates when text/font size is increased and you must use the scroll bar to read the full message
• By default, the box is checked for receiving new email messages when someone responds to a thread that you post in and it is unclear by the email how to respond
• No clear link to the FAQ page from the forums pages
• “Last post by” on Recent Discussions page is unclear as are the statistics about user contributions
• You cannot read the full discussion thread when posting a reply
• Avatar images appear elongated in Internet Explorer
• The left navigation box to link to other parts of the Community section is missing from forum pages
• It is difficult to navigate to your user profile and the forums homepage
