Visual Donor Reporting Tool: Daily Mugshot

Hey Folks,
I just wanted to let you know about Daily Mugshot, a free flash app / slide show. I've been using this app and recommending it to friends with newborn babies. Basically you take a pic with a web cam everyday and those pics play as a running slideshow on blogs etc.

FOR DONOR REPORTING:
Daily Mugshot's founder just alerted me to uploading capabilities and it got me thinking about NGOs and capital projects. Rather than showing off your baby, you can showcase building and renovation projects to donors and volunteers. You could actually give a visual progress report on a building that they helped fund. For international development projects, this would help folks better connect with their stakeholders.

I've also discovered Qik, a service that allows you to stream video straight from your phone cam. This is perfect for groundbreakings, rallies and meetings with key politicians and change makers.

(Don't worry, I don't work for any of these people. I'm simply a believer)

Best of luck and thanks for your commitment to positive social change.

Dana,

Interesting sounding stuff. I agree, the idea of doing a daily update of renovation projects could be very powerful.

Thanks for the tip.

Best wishes,
