Remote Admin

Hi does anyone know any good remote tools to administer palm devices?

Can you tell us which brands and preferably models of palm devices you use?

I cannot answer your question but suspect that whatever software may exist is not universal.

If your Palm (or any other) PDA is running Windows Mobile 6 (eg the Treo 750) with an Exchange backend, the most common remote admin tools used in business are Windows Mobile Manager with Active Sync and Remote Access Wipe.

Some of things you can do - Remotely enforce device encryption, allow or refuse attachments, enfore password policies, remote recovery of passwords by OWA, remotely wipe the PDA etc. - more info on Windows Mobile remote management is available [ Here ]
