WealthEngine & Donor Perfect

Has anyone used WealthEngine with Donor Perfect (optional integration). Was it worth: benefit vs. cost?

Hi. Could you say a bit more about your considerations? Do you have one of those products and are considering buying the other? Or are you evaluating them both as a package?

If you're in the latter situation, I recommend a different approach--I would evaluate them separately. If DonorPerfect meets your needs for a donor database, that's great. If WealthEngine meets your needs for an online research tool, that's great. But if only one of them is right for you, I wouldn't buy them as a package.

As to evaluating them, you will find a lot of opinions about DonorPerfect on this forum. And Megan already pointed you to a discussion of WealthEngine, which will point you to other resources.

When you evaluate WealthEngine, be aware that they have two services: batch screenings where you get data on a large group of people, and online lookups that are done one at a time. When you ask about their service, make it clear which one you're evaluating.

Robert is right- you can typically evaluate the benefits of a Fundraising CRM Software package (like DonorPerfect) separately from the prospect research component (Wealth Engine).
