Bloggers are starting to receive credit for their power of pursuasion, so much so that it has been written that Blogs might be the next take over target by big media companies. The problem is that the whole reason blogs are appealing is their objectiveness, and once you throw in ads, that throws it all out the window. It comes down to trust and integrity. Just because you make money doesn't mean your opinions cannot be trusted and once a rating system is figured out that takes all that into account, you can say good bye to Google search the way pages are curretnly indexed. There is a new blog publishing tool that I recommend trying out and that is at Moguling.com. It has built in SEO and Social Media Features. It bridges the web 1.0 and web 2.0 very nicely with its meshed technology. http://www.moguling.com
Hi Moguling1,
For the sake of transparency, I think it is important to take this out of the second person. You represent the site you are recommending--a previous post you made indicated that it was your creation with a few buddies.

Incorrect. I'm not trying to be coy but you're reading too much into my contribution to this blog. My experience is real and so is my interest in starting a real dialogue. I have built out a blog network using this tool and came to this point from my experience as a blogger/application developer/domainer

It's a matter of proper disclosure and avoiding conflict of interest. I've also noticed that you have not disclosed to the forum what your connection/affiliation to non-profits are.

In the interim, we contribute as well as sit on the community relations board for St Vincent Depaul. We have also contribute both money, time and resources to other endeavors. Do they need to be associated with technology? thx..

Thanks moguling, and no they do not need to be technology-related but we keep discussions here on the topic of nonprofits and technology.
Best,
Megan
Sorry Moguling1, I misinterpreted a post from
THIS thread.
"Me and a few guys used Wordpress and Blogger but unsatisfied with the ease of use and restrictions, so we built Moguling.com, a blog web publishing tool that anyone can use for Free."
It seemed to mean you had built the service.
