We are looking for software that will help us with budgets. We currently use an in-house spreadsheet using excel.
We use FundEz accounting software and would like something that is compatiable with it.

Hi Debra,
In my opinion this is not a fund raising software question. FundEZ is sort of confusing because it is accounting software with some fund raising capability built in. In my experience working with accounting software, most organizations use an EXCEL spreadsheet to do the development of the budgets, then import it into accounting software, and may track several versions of the budget in the accounting software as revisions. You might consider posting this question in the software forum to see if you can get a more complete answer from an accountant.

I would like to advise you Visual Money (www.visual-money.com) New, very smart and easy-to-use personal budget software. I've been using it for 1 year, and am really satisfied!

What nonprofit do you work for?
Your posting (and Visual Money's web site) says this is personal budgeting software. Do you use it to manage a nonprofit's budget? If so, how big is the budget and how many accounts are you managing?
