Online ticketing software/service for community playhouse

I am looking for online ticketing software for our community playhouse. We have 84 seats and typically have 4-6 shows per season plus a summer season. Each show has multiple performances typically over three weeks. We do not have boxoffice software so no need for an interface to such.

We sell tickets by reserved seats and want an online system that can allow patrons to choose their seats. And we don't want to dedicate a block of seats to online sales - all available seats should be available for online sales as well as telephone sales through our box office.

The big sticking point in our search for such a service is that we sell a significant number of season tickets in advance of the season and continue to sell telephone ordered tickets from patrons who do not care to use the web. We do not feel that there should be any fee to the online ticketing agency for seats we sell outside of the online sales system. This has already ruled out several otherwise capable vendors.

So far...

BrownPaperTickets.com has the lowest cost and meets our criteria EXCEPT that patrons cannot choose their seats. The online system chooses them automatically.

Tix.com seems to meet all the criteria.

Anyone have experience with Tix.com?

Anyone have experience with another vendor who would meet our criteria?

thanks.

Bob

There are a number of systems that can handle your requirement - please check out www.tix.com - we recently interviewed the President and learned they had 1,600 customers and serve venues from 75 seats to 20,000 seats.

You can read more about them on our site - www.ticketrends.com - in the centerstage area. You may also be interested in www.ticketforce.com www.etix.com www.ticketsage.com - TIX seems to have the best solution according to your posting -

please let us know if you would like a few more options, we cover the business of ticketing and provide information for free ;)
