As stated on the
product detail page the Symantec Antivirus Corporate edition product available through our service can be configured for the Live Update function:

Symantec AntiVirus clients can be installed as either unmanaged or managed. In an unmanaged Symantec AntiVirus network, each computer is administered individually. In a managed environment, one or more AntiVirus servers are used to administer the AntiVirus system. Each client and server on the network can be monitored, configured, and updated from a single computer running the Symantec System Center. The network can also have servers configured to run reporting, quarantine, and LiveUpdate functions."
Please note however that it does not come with their Technical Support, which is why their Licensing team provided you with conflicting information.
