Help African Kids Develop!

Hello :spinsmile;

I'm a new member to this forum and I represent a youth council for Mtandao Afrika (MAF) which is a non-profit organisation that seeks to promote the use of internet education in African schools.

The program does web design competition every year with school students all over Africa taking part in this project.

MAF was once a project under Thinkquest (www.thinkquest.org) and then moved to make it a grass root level project and then become Thinkquest Africa now Mtandao Afrika which means Network Africa.

Currently the program is being graced by Microsoft and Xceed under the supervision of Schoolnet Africa.

So I was hoping to find other partners that will be willing to sponsor the projects in any way they can. I hope guys like Adobe, Cisco or any other partners that deals with internet development will be able to join in.

So if you happen to have any info that can help us make this project a big success, please feel free to email me: mckuda@hotmail.com or for more details please vist: www.mtandao-afrika.org

Very cool, Kudan.

I hear that Africa's wireless infrastructure is coming up, particularly with technologies such as WiMAX.

How does this impact help kids and education there in Africa?
