Major Problem with our new Microsoft Office 2007 from Techsoup

We purchased, installed and love our new Microsoft 2007 except one MAJOR proglem so far. Whenever I try to open MS Outlook, the program takes several minutes to load and then pops up a message saying Outlook Business Contact Manager 2007 has encountered a problem and needs to close. You have to click send report or don't send to get the pop up to close & when you do, Outlook closes. But then without any direction, the computer tries to open Outlook again and continues to keep us from being able to use it for anything else. Once outlook finally comes up, the same process happens over and over. So our first solution was to repair the installation. We reran the installation as a repair and while the same problem was there, now at least after the 3rd or 4th Outlook reboot, the problem would sucessfully open. But the fix did not completely cure the problem and having used outlook several times, we are right back to the same never ending loop we started with. I just can't seem to get a clean boot into Outlook. So next we searched all over Microsoft.com - there is no solution posted for this particular problem (bug). Next we tried to call support, but they wanted to charge us $49 because our license comes with absolutely no warranty. The support person guided us to the Knowledge base via support.microsoft.com & told us we could use the site to email our problem for support. But the process led to a page where we would have to pay the $49 via credit card before we could go any further. Has anyone had this problem or know how we can solve it. I do not know where to go from here with the problematic installation.
I called techsoup after I posted this question in the techsoup stock forum, but the staff person I spoke with told me to go back to the forums and post it in the software forum. So here I am. We will be absolutely grateful fo any solution you can provide so we can use our email via outlook again. As of now, we cannot and I have to use comcast.net on the internet for my email. That does not give the functionality that I need to handle my email, contacts, tasks and calendar.
Thanking you ahead.

Bonnie, try using Outlook without the Business Contact Manager. That is a clunky add-on to Outlook as found out when installing a previous version a couple of years ago. You should be able to just uninstall that and Outlook should run fine with the functionality that you desire. Hope this helps.

Bonnie,

You can get answers from the many folks at the Microsoft Newsgroups.

To access them, open Outlook Express (Windows XP) or Windows Mail (Windows Vista) and establish access to Microsoft Communities. You need not establish e-mail, just don't establish a mail account.

Applicable newsgroups would be:
microsoft.public.outlook
microsoft.public.outlook.general
